First day at the gym | Start of fitness goals at fitness center near me | Workout vlog

Finally, it’s my first day at the gym. A start of fitness goals with my workout partner at a fitness center near me. I decided to give gymming a shot. To clear the air, I have never been to any gym or followed any workout routine before, but after getting inspired by my husband, I finally gathered some courage to take my health to the next level. This workout vlog will show you my first-day encounter with the gym, all the equipments, and weights that were alien to me.

Frankly, I must admit that I hate the idea of waking up early and exercise the body followed by a good healthy meal which doesn’t sound good to the palate. However, this seems to be one of the best ways to be in shape and live a happy and healthy lifestyle.

I did start with a 5 minutes walk on a treadmill (my first time ever). Though for the whole 5 minutes i was praying not to fell from it and become a joke for everyone around me. This was followed by a little stretching of my body. I must say my husband knew how to handle the beginners on their first day at the gym.

Checklist of how to start first day at the gym:

1.Carry a small towel and a bottle of water before entering the gym with a smile on your face
2.Start on a treadmill. Don’t run, just walk on it for 5-10 minutes to warm up your body
3. Stretch your body. For guidance, take help from a gym trainer
4.Do warm-up with light weights of up to 5kgs dumbells.
5. Start with machines, first with the chest, followed by shoulders, arms, back, and all other body parts.
6.Post-workout, stretch your body again, drink a little bit of water in between, and eat a banana after the workout

Isn’t it simple and easy to start your first day at the gym just by following the checklist. Overtime, you will make good friends at the gym and enjoy working out together.
