Top Crypto Influencer Tiffany Fong visited Sam Bankman-Fried in his California house to discuss business.
Tiffany Fong is American based crypto influencer who rose to fame after covering Celsius Network and FTX exchange. The coverage came at a time when both firms filed for bankruptcy resulting in freezing customer withdrawals in the crypto bear market.
She has 20,000 followers on YouTube & 40,000 on Twitter. In her first video, she explained how she lost $200,000 when the crypto lending protocol Celsius Network filed for bankruptcy back in July 2022.
Fong was also invited to the White House Christmas party this year. She has been closely following the trial of Sam Bankman-Fried (SBF) and has interviewed him several times in the past, way before FTX filed for bankruptcy.
Sam was arrested on eight different charges by the Bahamas Royal police at the behest of the United States Department of Justice (DOJ).
The disgraced CEO was extradited to the United States where he was released on $250 million bail. Sam is now kept under house arrest in California under the surveillance of his parents. He is monitored by the ankle bracelet tied to his feet.
Fong met Sam at his parent’s house in California while holidaying during the Christman season. However, when asked she stated the meeting was purely business related.
It is speculated that Fong may release a new video covering the latest update on SBF, asking him about the situation at the ground level and the next steps after he was granted bail by the court.
SBF cheated his customers by using their deposits to fund his expenses & also diverted the funds to Alameda Research, a hedge fund owned by FTX. If convicted, he will face 115 years jail term.
